Un accuratissimo docufilm che, basandosi sulle trascrizioni dell'epoca, mette in scena il processo agli assassini del ministro francese Louis Barthou e del re Alessandro di Jugoslavia, avvenuto a Marsiglia il 9 ottobre 1934. La tesi del film è che la seconda guerra mondiale sia iniziata quel giorno a Marsiglia e che le sue prime vittime furono due europei, uomini di pace del loro tempo.

The film is based on a transcript from the trial assassins on the french Minister Louis Barthou and King Alexandar of Yugoslavia in Marseille 9. October 1934. The thesis of the film is that WWII start that day in Marseille and the first victim was the two European greatest peacemaker of that time.

Cinema occupato è un film sull'occupazione da parte di giovani attivisti, che hanno ridato vita al cinema privatizzato Zvezda a Belgrado, in Serbia. Questa azione ha unito vari gruppi sociali che condividono lo stesso ideale: cambiare la realtà in cui vivono. Anche se la loro visione della realtà non è sempre la stessa.

Occupied cinema is a film about guerrilla action initiated by young activists taking over privatized cinema Zvezda in Belgrade, Serbia. This activity united various social groups that shared the same ambition - to change the reality in which they live. However, their views about how that reality should look like were not the same.
